The Siren and the Moon was born from my two favorite cards from the Mexican game Lotería: La Sirena and La Luna. There is something beautiful about how the hypnotic moon guides the vast, defiant sea. These cards symbolize my love for contrasts-being grounded yet free, quiet yet bold. The duality and complexity of life is beautiful. That is what inspired me to try something new and create a blog: to be nervous, but brave, and document and explore life through my writing.
